For a long time, I followed what was expected—
what was modeled, what was needed,
what made sense to everyone else.

There is a kind of safety in that…
a structure that tells you where to stand
and how to move.

But over time, it became harder to hear myself
inside all of it.

This piece comes from the quiet shift that followed—
the slow, uncertain process of letting go of the script
I had been handed,
and learning to trust something more instinctive.

Not loud. Not abrupt.
Just a steady turning inward.

Marks cross, soften, interrupt—
not to rebel, but to respond.
To move in a way that feels honest,
even when it isn’t fully defined.

Off Script is a reflection of that space—
where I stopped trying to follow
and began, gently,
to become.

The drifting forms speak to exposure and becoming,
while the subtle structure beneath reminds us:
delicacy is not the absence of strength—
it is strength, expressed differently.
