Teddi Raye Anderson

Teddi is a self-taught and multi-award winning abstract artist based in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. She began painting in 2022 as a way to honor the memory of her mother and brother. What started as a tribute quickly turned into a passion, and she has been creating ever since. Teddi’s work is often inspired by dark moody themes, stormy skies and vast landscapes. She works with acrylic inks, and soft and oil pastels, layering the mediums with texture to achieve varied effects. She prefers working on large statement pieces and donating small pieces to fundraisers and auctions.
