Milton Williams is a landscape artist whose work spans several distinctive painting series, including Wood Grain Primitives, Roof Tops, Beneath Our Islands, Mississippi Trees, Flowers, Shell Fish and Abstracts, Tree Slabs, and Wisteria. For Williams, art can be summed up in three words: “Art’s an adventure.”

Over the past 50 years, he has explored acrylic mediums and techniques, continually experimenting with new ways to render his subjects. Williams earned a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Art from Mississippi State University in 1975. He later spent 22 years working as a graphic artist at the Naval Construction Training Center, where he practiced his profession while continuing to develop his personal artistic voice. Since 2012, Williams has devoted much of his time to serving veterans at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, where he teaches and shares painting and sculpting techniques, encouraging creativity and artistic expression.

Williams expresses deep gratitude to the friends, family, and art patrons who have supported his lifelong artistic journey. His hope is that his work brings joy to viewers and inspires a sense of wonder at the beauty of God’s creation. Milton and his wife Dorothy, also a landscape artist, live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Still studying and striving to excel with what we have been given. To the Lord belongs the glory. Milton is available for commission work. Email him with your ideas and he will respond to you with his availability and pricing.
