Vielsa Harding is a multi-award-winning realist artist whose vibrant colors and masterful technique breathe timeless beauty and life into her paintings. Born in the Republic of Panama, she has called the Mississippi Gulf Coast home for more than fifteen years and now lives in Biloxi.
Her artistic journey began modestly during her child-rearing years as a creative outlet, initially working in watercolors and acrylics. Through dedicated study of instructional videos, books, workshops, and formal lessons—combined with years of consistent practice—she developed a strong proficiency in oils, soft pastels, and mixed media.
Vielsa’s richly varied subject matter includes breathtaking landscapes, sensitive portraits, delicate flowers, graceful birds, and compelling still lives. Deeply rooted in biblical truth, her work intentionally reflects what is good, true, and beautiful, celebrating God’s creation and inviting viewers to see His handiwork through art.
Her paintings are exhibited at Gallery 782 in Biloxi, Singing River Art Gallery in Pascagoula, and other Gulf Coast venues. She accepts select commissions for portraits and Old Masters recreations, depending on specifications and time availability.
